Stock that is right in one shop and wrong in the next is a system problem, not a people problem. Here is how to fix it.
To manage stock across several locations, keep one inventory ledger that records every movement, treat transfers between locations as proper documents, label items with barcodes, track batches or serial numbers where needed, and run small, regular cycle counts. Give each location access only to its own stock, and head office a combined view.
Stock rarely goes wrong in one big mistake. It drifts: a transfer sent but not received, a return put back on the shelf without an entry, a sale rung up against the wrong size. Across three or four locations, those small gaps add up quickly.
The cure is to make every movement a recorded event with a before and after, so any number can be traced back to what caused it.
